Coefficient of friction (COF) is very much related to coated surface in the field of packaging and its measurement is necessary for qualitative and quantitative analysis of a coated dry film. COF value is a determining factor to select a coating material to provide performance of the dried coated film in regard to material handling, machinability, damage during transportation and, most importantly, feel & satisfaction by the end-users.
